A thread of what would you do if it were you facing these real life situations.

Mauti aleta mauti....

https://nairobinews.nati...ls-her-workmate-instead

Quote:
A family in Mokwerero Village, Kisii county is in agony after their kin, Dominic Oyugi, 32, was shot dead by a police officer in a pub on Thursday night.

Police Constable Joseph Mauti is said to have been frustrated after his two- weeks effort to seduce a barmaid working at the pub failed to bear fruit.

On Thursday night, he excused himself from night shift at Itumbe police station and headed to the pub armed with his official rifle.

His intention was to shoot the barmaid. However the deceased, who also works in the pub as a waiter, shielded his workmate from being shot at.

A furious Constable Mauti pumped two bullets into his stomach, killing him instantly.

Sometimes they are really doing way too much for their job here, lot of people simply couldn't be shot anyway at all. So I hope you do realise that. IT's something out of my mind to understand, I have seen so much violence from police lately that it's disturbing.

I'm trying to reduce the amount of time it takes me to understand the motives of the people around me. As per last week I discovered that it's been taking me like a year to six months of not being with a person for me to start deciphering motive.

The worse thing about human relationships is the prevalence of 'gas lighting'. It comes unconsciously and instinctively and is often a great barrier to any meaningful dialogue.

Here's a case that seems to fit in with my thoughts https://mobile.nation.co...33246-101hjl8/index.html

Very sad situation, unfortunately this is happening in many households in particular central Kenya, where the wife is leaving a separate life to that of the husband. It comes too late for the husband when so called wife is abroad with the children and all the title deeds.left alone to die a slow death.
