This action if selling these companies can be interpreted as the Gov declaring that they are a failure, being pushed to a place where they have to do something this embarrassing.

On the flip side, this could be a carefully crafted plan to privatize Kenya Ports Authority. Create a crisis, add the prized companies in the list of companies. Can't just target the highly valuable ones directly. Kenya ports could be another prized one (oil?).

Wauze zote kabisa. What business does a Government have owning hotels? Just Google some of those places like Mount Elgon Lodge and Kabarnet Hotel. Look at the pictures provided on Google Maps and see if it is a place you would want to visit. The potential is there but you need to manage these places and make them look presentable.

I support that all those sugar factories be sold. We wanjiku are tired of bailing them out. #PundaAmechoka.

I wouldn't sell KPA, the rest they can sell and even liberalise the Petroleum transmission and power sector to encourage competition, also sell KPLC
